marinated olives

These warm marinated olives will take your holiday appetizer board to the next level. The best part is they can be made in under 20 minutes! All you need is mixed olives, fresh garlic, orange peel, and rosemary for restaurant-quality olives!

Warm Marinated Olives

  • 2 cups assorted olives (we used kalamata and green)
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1-2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • Zest of half an orange (peeled in strips with a vegetable peeler)
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1-2 tsp red chili flakes

In a medium saucepan, heat all ingredients on medium until the oil begins to sizzle. Turn the heat down to low and continue to sauté for an additional 5 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and serve warm with a side of bread to soak up the flavourful olive oil.
