A homemade take on a holiday classic! Make your very own peppermint white chocolate at home with this simple recipe. Store in the fridge for holiday mornings.
• 3 cups half and half (or plant-based alternative)
• 90g chopped white chocolate or white chocolate chips
• 1 – 1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract, to taste
• Optional: 1 tbsp sugar (this can be adjusted to your preferred level of sweetness)
In a saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the half and half until warm. Add the white chocolate, peppermint extract and sugar (if including). Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and the sugar is dissolved. Let cool fully before storing in a jar in the fridge.
