Using traditional sourdough techniques, all breads from Rustic Sourdough Bakery are handcrafted. They offer a variety of breads, buns and sweet treats, including cakes and tortes.
Sourdough baking uses a sour starter that contains yeasts and bacteria, and is the primary leavening agent for the bread. Rustic Sourdough Bakery breads do not have a sour flavour, unlike some bakeries that create a sour flavour in their “sourdough” breads by adding extra flavours. They do not use any preservatives, emulsifiers or flavour enhancers. All breads are natural and made by hand.
