True Buch Kombucha creates kombucha in small batches using organic and non-GMO ingredients. They offer both bottled and draught kombucha in a variety of flavours.
Kombucha is a fermented tea that is made from black or green tea, cane sugar and SCOBY (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast). The drink is fermented for around 2 weeks.
The company was started in 2014 by Calgarians Conrad and Louisa Ferrel. They discovered the fermented tea while travelling in Asia and began brewing it on their own, and now True Buch supplies local shops and restaurants with their products. All their kombucha is raw, unpasteurized, vegan, gluten free and made of non-GMO ingredients.
