Supper Series at Blush: Build a Better Buddha Bowl

Join us and new friends for a long-table meal. Come prepared for a hands-on evening where you’ll learn the ins and outs of creating a delicious Buddha Bowl, as well as create your very own for bowl for dinner! We’ll be joined by Psychologist Sally Powis-Campbell, local mindful eating and nutrition psychology expert who will lead us through a mindful meal-prep activity while we whip up our bowls!
What is a Buddha Bowl you make ask? The story goes that Buddha carried a bowl with him on his journeys and accepted food as donations, which he would eat at the end of the day. These bowls are hearty, filling dishes made of various greens, raw or roasted veggies, beans and a healthy grain like quinoa or brown rice, all topped with a delicious, nourishing dressing.
We’d love if everyone in attendance bring their own, favourite bowl to craft your meal in!
Bowls will be vegan. We are also able to accommodate for many dietary allergies and/or restrictions. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org before April 16th & prior to purchasing your ticket to confirm.
**Seating is limited & you must register to attend. Cost of event is $15, $10 of which will be reimbursed at the event in the form of a $10 Blush Lane gift card.
