Breakfast at Blush: Smoothie Bowls with the Whole Family!

Join us for a family-friendly, hands-on breakfast! In this class for all ages, we’ll make smoothie bowls packed with fresh fruit, healthy fats, and fun toppings! Parents and children alike will be encouraged to tap into your senses when crafting up your beautiful bowls. After our mindful meal prep is complete, we’ll do a kid-friendly mindful eating meditation that can be easily replicated at home.
Smoothie Bowls With The Whole Family
Whether your child is an adventurous little foodie or a picky eater, this event’s for you! You’ll learn how mindful eating has been shown to be a great approach for children who are considered picky eaters, and how by following our curious eater’s example we can boost our own mindful eating practices as parents!
We encourage you to favourite bowls to craft your breakfast in! You also leave with a handbook with tips and tricks for recreating the session recipes and how to incorporate mindful eating practices at home!
This session is curated by Registered Psychologist Sally Powis-Campbell, a local mindful eating and nutrition psychology expert. As a mom of 2 toddlers, Sally has seen first hand how mindful eating exercises, such as the smoothie bowl art, can benefit the whole family.
