At Blush Lane Organic Produce, we are dedicated to providing our customers with only certified organic produce, supporting local growers first and offering a worldwide selection of organic fruits and vegetables.
Whenever possible, we sell farm-direct, local produce, which ensures the quality and freshness for our customers. Along with great quality come great prices as we skip any middlemen and give you, the customer, the best price possible. This method also supports our growers by giving them top dollar for their product.

Robert Horricks, President & CEO

With over 16 year produce experience, including 14 years dealing strictly with organic produce,Robert is committed to promoting and developing organic food production. With a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Management, he also successfully finished post-secondary studies in the Environment Entrepreneur Program with the New Venture Development Group at the University of Calgary. During this program he launched his first business, Organic Express which operated for 7 years before being sold to Small Potatoes Urban Delivery. During the last year of Organic Express, Horricks founded Blush Lane Organic Produce at the Calgary Farmers’ Market and subsequently purchased a 10 acre organic orchard and fruit stand in Keremeos BC.  Blush Lane Organic Orchard is owned an operated by Robert and his wife Zenya, who specialize in tree ripe fruit sold directly to customers at their BC fruit stand and at the Blush Lane Calgary locations. In 2008 Robert and his business partner Matthew Paulson opened a new 6600 sq ft retail operation in the community of Aspen Woods in Calgary AB.  The new location is an extension of the Blush Lane philosophy of buying local first, while providing a worldwide selection. Robert is currently on the board of directors for the Pacific Agriculture Certification Society (PACS) and is also serving as one of their representatives on the board of directors for Certified Organic Association of British Columbia (COABC).

Matthew Paulson, Vice President & COO
With deep roots in the local organic industry, Matthew oversees daily management the Blush Lane Calgary operations. His passion for organics first emerged by growing organic strawberries with his wife Erin at her  parents farm (Sunworks.com) in Armena, Alberta.  From this sweet start, he moved on to supporting organic farmers in British Columbia and Alberta by selling their goods at local markets. Driven by his enthusiasm and love for organics, his influence shows in the quality of the produce, and the quality of service, they provide to the people of Calgary.
